Day-4th September,Saturday.
It was 3rd day of the 1st test of India Vs Australia series.
This was the first time I was watching an international cricket match as the audience in the stadium. I must say that it was very exciting.
For a few minutes,it was unbelievable that I was watching all the players for REAL whom I had been watching on a TV screen. It was totally different feeling to watch it there as you will be watching the whole picture rather than watching it through the lens of cameramen.
Major part that every audience in a house will be missing is the atmosphere of the venue. The whole crowd will be ecstatic with their cheers reaching sky.It makes a whole lot of difference in viewing pleasure.
That may be the main reason for foreign cricketers to consider it to be nightmarish to debut in India. Because you wont find any other crowd as crazy as Asians. The way Australian crowd was braving us was commendable.
India was batting that day and wickets quickly fell down in the 1st session itself. It started to get boring. Then our group of friends(5 of of us were there) decided to have lunch outside the stadium as the maintenance of food centre was horrifying. In the 3rd session,Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan entertained us with their bat. It was a fine experience for 250 bucks which will not be forgotten easily.
